At RunaSoul, health and breed standard are always at the forefront of everything we do.

We are one of the UK's leading family-run Sphynx catteries, with award-winning cats recognised across both TICA and GCCF. Our breeding programme is dedicated to producing exceptional Sphynx cats that exemplify the highest standards of health, type, temperament, and welfare.

Our Commitment to Health

  • All breeding cats undergo annual HCM screening and must receive a clear result to remain in our breeding programme.

  • Unless prevented by exceptional circumstances, our breeding cats will have received two clear HCM scans prior to breeding.

  • Every breeding cat is DNA tested for known genetic diseases.

  • All cats are tested and confirmed free from FIV and FeLV.

  • Every quarter, one of our cats is randomly selected for comprehensive PCR testing for infectious diseases, including faecal screening.

  • Our entire household maintains up-to-date vaccinations.

Responsible Breeding Practices

  • We breed strictly within GCCF and TICA breeding guidelines.

  • We do not produce designer breeds, as we do not support the breeding of multiple genetic mutations.

  • Our cats live as cherished members of our family and are raised in a loving home environment.

  • We regularly attend cat shows across multiple registries and actively seek judges' feedback to ensure our breeding programme continues to meet and exceed breed standards.

Raising Exceptional Kittens

  • Our kittens are carefully raised to be confident, well-socialised, and affectionate companions.

  • Each kitten receives three veterinary health checks before leaving for their new home.

  • All kittens leave fully vaccinated, neutered or spayed, and in excellent health.

  • Kittens are registered with GCCF and/or TICA and are provided with a three-generation pedigree.

  • Every kitten leaves with four weeks of Petplan insurance.

Lifetime Support

Our commitment to our kittens does not end when they leave for their new homes. We offer lifelong support to all RunaSoul families, together with a comprehensive two-year health guarantee for added peace of mind.
